Man, I remember that win streak we were on before he went down with the ankle injury. We were all like "Harden who?". We still need his scoring while we're developing the young core, so I hope he can stay healthy until at least the trade deadline.
Lol I still Have the trailblazers game saved on demand. Yeah he was amazing during that streak. And before the second ankle injury that kept him out all those games. He didn’t look the same after he came back. Before the injury he was getting out and leading the transition. He was remarkable but he didn’t sustain.
Kinda dumb but I like how Green and JC are separated and JC has his hand over Sengun's shoulder instead of Green. I dont want a clique thing going on in this team between JC, KPJ and Jaygup I want them all to bond together s0ince they are all rooks and arguabl0y have a chip on their shoulder from being underrated in the draft from Green who went no 2 when he should have been no 1 to Tate who went undrafted and then got to the All Rookie team.
I know! I see the same thing. There's one picture I've seen of them together where Garuba and Alpie look the same height, but here it actually looks like Garuba's taller! Been doing the same thing with the vid with James and Jalen together in the JG highlights fix thread. I've gotta stop this! lol I wonder if they're (still) doing this in the Piston's forums?
Look up the word "perspective," read the definition, then understand why an upwards shot from a camera means using the picture as proof of height is almost as ridiculous as believing that random numbers you see will predict the future.
anyone else a bit worried about Wood not quite fitting in with the other new guys? Most of the team seemed to be at summer league, but the only thing I see from Wood is a complaint that people aren’t taking enough about him. The Rockets signed one center and drafted another. And have a plethora of ball dominant guards. He has to be wondering how he fits and whether he’ll get enough touches to accumulate the stats for the awards and max deals he wants. While I love the fit of Wood on this team on paper (if he can give more on defense), I’m a bit concerned that it could blow up at some point.
Not at all. Wood is in Houston working on his game, before that was in Miami working on his game. Wood is laser focused. And has great relationship with Porter.
good to he good to hear. The silence from and about Wood was worrying me. And I keep hearing season previews that essentially ignore him or assume he will be traded … an assumption I absolutely would not make. It is an option, but I think he will have a terrific year and the (offensive) lineup can be very dynamic if they mesh and enable a combination of five-out and rapid flowing high post and perimeter passing.
