    not unless we play better. Everyone points to our bad August in 2017, when we went 11-17. One difference is that team had an enormous lead in the division. This team is actually pissing away their lead in the standings.

    That’s what happens when you have an injury that is unlikely to heal this season. If he’s only got one semi-healthy month of baseball in him before he gets hurt again, they’re probably going to wait as long as possible and squeeze the most meaningful games out of him.
