Have not read this yet but I often wonder as a parent to young kids, how do you get them to grow up to be as driven, mature, humble and mentally tough as some of the 19 year olds in this draft class? Lots of credit goes to these kids but also their parents/family. Simply amazing.

I hope so. I really wanted him to lock up Cade. Even more so now that they came out double and tripling Green above the 3 point line to try to stop him from getting his all the while Green took on the challenge of defending Cade one on one

This reminds me of Tony Allen.

A player like him at 23... What a steal.
After a ridiculously unlucky season, we finally got lucky at the draft.

The Rox were lucky even last season. Lucky to get KPJ, Tate and Kmart Jr who all turned out great. Lucky to get Nwaba and C Wood played better than expected. Even getting tank commander and whiffing on Dipo was lucky as those resulted in losses which allowed us to tank.

What a block late in the game tonight. He will need some NBA adaptation though.

I hope we don't put limits on what he can be. Let him handle the ball some.

Draymond is a better comp. Ibaka is bigger and a better rim protector while Garuba is better defending in space. Also Garuba has some playmaking instincts while Ibaka is a black hole.

    And Garuba can’t shoot.

How Garuba played tonight is how I expected him to play during his debut. Maybe he really is just more comfortable at center than PF, which I guess is ok given he has a big ass body and Sengun is prob better off playing at PF.
