One thing I like is the Rox are loading up on snipers along with Matthew Hurt (although he jas sucked tbh). One thing I couldnt understand in Morey era was we were the most 3 pt happy team but kept getting mediocre shooters.

Nah Brooks is better than Mclemore. Mclemore was strictly catch and shoot . He doesn’t even move off the ball as well as Brooks

 

His shooting form and mannerisms remind me of Lou Williams lol, he's just a lot bigger.

Good showing by Brooks. I think the Rockets just need to find the right combination of players to immerse themselves in this transitionary squad. There was the Harden style, last year was the tank style, and now is the new identity redefined.

I see that Josh Christopher was dishing the ball to Brooks, and Brooks was stroking... That looked like good team chemistry.


But the NBA is filled with talented players who need to play a role the Coach lays out for them, because at the end of the day, even if a player plays great, if they don't do what the coach asked of them, they don't see the court for long.



I'm very intrigued by what Brooks can do with the Rockets this season. However, the competition for playing time appears to be fierce, based on all the talent and potential. Though I could see the Rockets using the G-League in a rotational phase to keep all the young guys playing competitive basketball.


Brooks has got some NBA experience, not much, but he's at least he's wet behind the ears, as to no be like a deer caught in the headlights.

 

If you're expecting success this season then that's your first mistake.

 

Well, to be fair, some of our shooters were excellent but by design we had them shooting like 6 feet behind the three point line. If you do that consistently, as Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson did, then your percentage is definitely going down. It's just a much harder shot.
