Don’t want to trade Wood, just to trade him. However, he is a very valuable trade chip for a re-building team. I still think a trade for Kuminga and other assets would be a good idea. Don’t really like Wiseman and think the fit is horrible, but I really like Kuminga a bunch. Find a third team and maximum his trade value.
Yeah that’ll do it for sure. He’s got such unique and incredible talent- maybe if he really took that real step forward (including health/availability) he’d be worth it but as-is he’s probably going to get a bag in 2 seasons anyway. MAX tho… man I dont know about all that. Let someone else make him the next “worst contract in the league”.
Raptors not trading Siakam unless they get a bonafide All Star back, preferably a 2 way All Star to fit TOR system and philosophy. But Raptors are great trade partner, they have a deep roster of really long 2 way players and are desperate for 2 way scorers. Throw in protected FRP. Agreed that OG is part of TOR young core. So your idea to trade Wood, who does not fit their philosophy of 2 way switchable players, is also very unlikely. Especially for a 2 way All Star in Siakam.
You could be correct. Not sure Wood is a great fit for them. I think OG will cost a lot. I think the ideal team for Wood is GSW. He would fit perfect and they are in win now. Maybe Kuminga and future picks and filler. Of course, I could be wrong, but I think Wiseman will be a bust.
I wonder if the Rockets have any interest in Markannen. He's 23, 7' tall, good handles, can shoot, dunk, good instincts on blocks, etc. Don't know much else about his game but looks like he either gets injured a lot or doesn't get a ton of burn. His FG% has not been stellar and has dipped the past several years along with his PPG and minutes. Would a sign and trade with the Bulls for say Gordon and picks be a possibility, y'all thoughts
