Wonder what he did in his 1st 3 starts in the NPL?

 

Tuffy hit 3 hr’s on opening day but he had a few at bats in the seasons before IIRC.

 

A few hundred with the Stros, iirc

 

First 3 were also all against elite level relievers/closers if I am not mistaken in a pinch hitting situation.

 

He is The Chosen One.

 

He's struck out in nearly half his PAs so far. I think I'd pump the brakes a little.

I don't know about real deal, but the way he's playing justifies why we traded Straw. He has tons more potential and Straw at best was an average center fielder.

 

.228 hitter... which is better than a third of the Kanas City regulars.

That was a tough play in CF last night. I kind of giggled when Jake did the pancake on the wall but he hustled to get the ball back in quick.

 

We drafted Nevin ahead of Jeter because McMullen didn't want to pay that bonus... could have also kept Schilling that year...
