His lack of creativity is what will keep him from being a number 1, or even 2 option on a championship team. His defense at the rim has not been as elite as I expected it to be.
Pretty common for players to add 25 lbs in 2 years with weight training and diet. Remember Mobley is still a teen.
Thought this was a Rockets fan site. I don’t remember Clutchfans being a Cavs fan site. Why are we discussing Mobley who is definitely not a Rocket.
Mobley has to become more assertive and he needs to be able to score at a high level all on his own accord. I’m not sure he gets there but I wouldn’t rule it out.
Honestly I’m over this dude. Just the attitude, maybe being resigned to the fact he was going 3rd. I’m glad we got Green.
lol ok so you know of this dish forum, which I have never gone to. No need for smart ass comments. Despite this, the fact still remains that many Rockets fans are still enthralled with and debating and discussing about Mobley. We didn’t draft him. It’s ok. Move on sheesh lol.
The problem is not every pogo stick big man can put on weight successfully like Davis. Players like Yao, Joe Chee and Porzingis became injury prone and lost their quickness when they bulked up. We wont really know if Mobley can handle that mass till a couple of years later.
1. You're literally posting in a thread in the NBA Dish section of the site. 2. The only basketball on right now is the summer league, of which Mobley is a participant. Olympics are over and the regular season hasn't started yet. There's not much else to talk about. 3. Imagine gatekeeping what people want to talk about. 4. If you don't want to talk about Mobley, why are you even in this thread talking about not wanting to talk about Mobley?
Cavs probably saw that the Nos. 1, 2 and 5 picks are all out due to injury or potential for injury and sat Mobley out of precaution.
