Jalen Green's Fresno upbringing motivates him to prove people wrong, just not in Detroit

I don't mind what Jalen says as long as he's prepared to receive the wrath from Pistons fans when the Rockets play in Detroit. Show up in that game and let your skills do the talking.

As for the people/fans of Detroit getting bent over this comment...like maybe wake up?

Don't know Detroit but Fresno is pretty bad. There's really nothing to do there either. You're either heading up to Yosemite or out to the Central Coast. Either way, you're leaving Fresno.

 

And I'd like to think that played into Jalen's response. Like, "Why do I want to go into the almost exact environment as the one I just left?". Houston has its own warts for sure but I haven't seen any data that shows people migrating to Detroit/Michigan like they are with Houston/Texas.

People are ignorant. Houston is a hot spot. Only a couple hours from the Texas hill country and some of the best food in the world. Excellent night life and some of the most beautiful women you have ever seen. Everyone who is anyone has been to houston. Houston >Detroit by a mile. And not to mention only 45 mins from Galveston beaches?
