Well then you made a generalization and put words in my mouth (as you tend to do a lot around here). I gave my examples of how Biden stifled domestic production - and that really hasn't been in dispute by any US O&G economist. Sorry I can't understand it for you. Take care.
So what policy Biden introduced that slowed down CURRENT domestic oil production? Asking OPEC to temporarily cover any supply shortages due to a recent surge in demand due to lockdowns ending is not the same as your claim that Biden is slowing down domestic production. Trump did the same thing when Iran and Venezuela slowed down production.
How you're not able to apply your brainly synapses to answer your own question based on the information I have provided is baffling. I wish you were smarter.
Likewise. It's the domestic players that are keeping that oil they drilled (but not fracked) in the ground.
Biden requested OPEC to pump more oil to meet the current surge in demand. I'm trying to figure out how that also means "Biden is slowing down domestic production". Maybe I'm mentally challenged and can't figure it out. You can hold my hand and point me to how one means the other or you can just insult me. Or you can do both. I wouldn't mind but I'd rather learn something new also while being chastised for my apparent PTSD and learning disability. Was Trump creating policy to slow down domestic production also when he also requested OPEC to ramp up production?
It's not difficult to grasp. Domestic production could have been teed off and ready to go had Biden not froze leases in the Artic and federal lands. He hamstrung himself by doing that to where when production is needed he had to ask OPEC to bail himself out rather than commencing domestic production.
Freezing new leases for drilling that was created this January during Trump's last month in office has no effect on current oil production. You think when new land is approved for drilling, the infrastructure required to drill and transport from that region happens overnight? Those projects are for future production years from now and years from now this country and the planet is banking on being less dependent on oil. You still haven't shown me anything about Biden slowing down CURRENT production. That isn't Biden reducing production. I want you to point me on policies Biden implemented that limits domestic production currently which effects the price of oil and gas TODAY.
America needs him more than ever. Biden is a disgrace and one of the weakest leaders of my lifetime. He reminds me of Ted Wheeler.
Cause and effect is a helluva thing. You have a block head and information doesn't get through to your brain, or it goes in and out without you thinking about it. I'm done responding to your talking in circles.
We can still like each other. I know a lot of internet people don’t like republicans but I hope it’s not the case with us. I have tons of Democrat friends IRL.
Cause and effect is real. Blaming freezing of new leases for land that is years away from production for current domestic shortages and the increased prices isn't cause and effect because the cause attributed isn't effecting current production and prices. The sudden ramp up in demand from lockdowns ending is what is causing the spike in prices and supply shortages. Supply usually lags behind demand.
Mitt Romney is a Republican. I can be friends with those people. Donald Trump is a wannabe fascist who is trying convince millions of Americans that democracy has ended and that an illegal usurper is in the White House while also spying the same pre Nazi Germany rhetoric about blaming "the other" for economic issues such as black people, immigrants, Muslims etc. So naw, dick riding Trump is a no go for me in terms of cordial disagreement. Donald Trump's ecosystem of rhetoric from Tucker Carlson to right wing YouTube pundits blame people like my family for America's economic issues. I can't respect those people. They are why I'm concerned when my hijabi mother walks around publicly due to fear of harassment.
You are applying facts that relate to the Keystone pipeline (AGAIN) regarding future production to other matters where production would have been more imminent. It is useless discussing anything with you. Try banging your head against the wall a few times.
Biden’s been such a disaster. The CDC eviction moratorium has made Austin housing prices even worse. It’s a blatant denial of property rights and has made it damn near impossible to find affordable housing there.
