Green's already earned and embraced the nickname The Unicorn. He even owns a unicorn onesie and his kid sister, Jurnee, creates artwork and stories of her big brother as a unicorn. It's disgustingly adorable. Tbh I kind of hope he keeps rolling with it in the League. I could get used to seeing hat signature unicorn hand gesture of his after poterizing a helpless defender.
Nah, you just Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' because it's as clear as the Man in The Mirror that I was sticking to album titles. I mean it's right there in Black or White. I get it though, it's just Human Nature to expect all the hits, so You Are Not Alone. Hell, I Remember the Time I used to think that way too. But no, there's no Billie Jean here. So Beat It and just Leave Me Alone.
This, till he develops more discretion. I love the highlights, but we need better court vision and management of possessions from him, even at SG.
I pointed this out last Thursday in a post and it was not even acknowledged by one single person lol. Totally glossed over and the suggestions kept pouring in. People are in denial or something. Nobody wants to call him Unicorn lmao. Not that I blame them.
Eh. The Unicorn moniker has been generically applied to too many players like Kristaps and Giannis. It definitely won't stick on Jaylen Green. He looks awesome so far, but I don't see how his game or his physical attributes are unique enough to deserve the 'unicorn' nickname. That said, if he ends up earning the unicorn nickname with his play, I'd be ecstatic since that it'll mean he must've been exceedingly incredible.
Just go ask Bill Worrell or Matt Bullard. WWBWCH? WWMBCH? What would Bill Worrell call him? What would Matt Bullard call him?
Nahh.. I hope he leaves that at home with his family. That ain’t it Also “Unicorn” was already Kristaps Porzingis nickname is when he was a budding start.
It's probably because we're pretty sure doing the loser symbol on his forehead is not going to stick.
