I personally don't believe in psychics, BUT "Carnac the Magnificient" was spot on!!! ... @Killatron 2000 ....... ....... .......
My aunt was able to predict multippe deaths in our family a day or two ahead of time. She always said she got (what she desribed as song lyrics) in her head abo.ut the person and there impending passing stuck in her head. Her mother was also able to predict such things but she saw lights on her ceiling at bed time the night(s) before. Granted no one will buy this but it did absolutely happen a number of times. Another thing I always found interesting about my aunt, was that she was uncannily lucky with gambling and playing keno. She just seemed to have some predictive powers. Dead serious.
I had a completely crazy scary experience with an Ouija board when I was in my 20s. I lived by the Texas Killing Fields in a shitty little 2bdr house. My gf brought home an Ouija board and the instant we put the tips of our fingers on it, it started zooming around in a perfect figure 8. We started asking questions and all it did was spell out k i l l y o u over and over again. The movements were precise and there was no way my gf was doing it. I threw it out and couldn’t sleep that night. (A little freaky to even recall it) I also saw and heard some crazy **** when I lived in some houses built in the 1800s in Galveston. I don’t know about psychics but I know I believe that there’s some layer of unexplained spiritual something in the world.
Yup I don't think we were capable of spelling things backwards on the fly like that. I would try it again but the feelings were negative and not the type of thing one would want to revisit. Ouija predicted a family friends daughters name. Perhaps it was sub conscious suggestion later of Vanessa. You are making me think I should contact my mother through it but I don't believe it works that way..ouija is conjuring up something somehow... negative..yeah.. starting to sound weird. Also Vanessa knew Jessica Cain which makes this coincidence more than something and best left to being left alone. Im generally a skeptic but this is a 'layer" as you put it that I'm not down to f*uck with.
I believe in angel( we all have a guardian angel) and also in demons. It is a religious think for me. I have never messed with anything occult
My now deceased mother-in-law would occasionally talk about her "witchy" insight. Once she convinced her husband not to go in for his shift as a RR engineer. She sensed tragedy. Sure enough there was an accident that day and the replacement engineer was killed. Once I tried to get her to explain it to me. It was very hard for her to articulate. The messages somehow came to her in colorful auras and numbers-- a formula that she could not quite explain. She didn't talk about it much. She was very private about it. In her later declining years, it was not unusual to see her talking to people who were not in the room. Once we watched her leaning down and quietly conversing. She said she was talking to a little girl.
She was a quiet hard-working woman who raised four children and then went to nursing school and worked 20 years on the hospital floor before retiring. She withered away with Parkinson's Disease. In those later years when she had lost some of her "alertness", I think her two worlds kind of merged. The last couple of years my wife would spend three nights a week with her, turning her over in the her hospital bed when she had become invalid. I'm sure there was a lot that quietly went on..
I am absolutely fascinated by stories like these. My mom says some of this runs in her family. She says her mother's side has a slight predictive ability but it seems to want as it gets older, and that when I was 2-4 years old, there were weird things I'd say. I never believed her, but it's part of the reason I started this.
Eddie you reminded me of another one I can tell. When I was a kid, I began telling my parents that my step grandfather (who died days before I was born) was visiting me in the middle of the night. I dont remember any of this but apparently I was able to vividly describe him and true things he had told me that I couldnt have known. Anyway, my parents and grandmother were shocked so they used a vhs camcorder over the period of a couple months to record my accounting of this multiple times. Years later, they went to watch and every single one was blank. Crazy but true. As for me, the only instance I can relate is being on LSD and being able to perceive the thoughts of one of my friends. Weirdest thing ever but it definitely happened. Spiderman blotter 2003.
