reminds after big ben was young and had the motorcycle crash and was accused of forcibly raping 3 women in 3 different states. the steelers utimately chose to keep him. The difference here is watson wants out( i think)

If he doesn't play....OUT OF SITE, OUT OF MIND. He needs to play. GMs want to see are the Civil cases effecting him, how's his mental, etc.

IF he makes it through, the Texans win two fold! If he gets hurt or folds mentally, the Texans get to hold on to him and let the situation play out.

I tend to agree to a certain extent. I think, until people see it with their own eyes, there is a degree of doubt about Watson being able to get past this professionally. The risk-reward ratio isn't great, but it does help, and since Watson has seemingly zero future with your team, you might as well squeeze all the value you can out of him while you can.

If the Texans choose to sit on him until his legal stuff is over and then send him packing I'm fine with that too, because he's kind of an unrepentant butthole at the moment. If Watson can find a way to make this right, he's welcome to stay, but that's an awfully big hill to climb and he seems not very interested in climbing it.

I don’t think this story ends well for deshaun. He’s really playing with fire when it comes to his career.

I see him not getting traded and just sitting on the bench as a 3rd stringer all season.

He has zero trade value. But playing him isn't good for anyone. I think it will be a few years before Deshaun plays again

Even if he plays, his skills or what he used to have is not enough to save this dumpster of a franchise. Might as well sell him to the highest bidder.

Amazes me that everyone focuses on 2 people, who have nothing to do with what is on the field. McNair and Easterby have faded into the background.....like they should be. Caserio, Culley, Lovie, and Tim Kelly are who you should be focused on.

Agreed BUT I view Cal and Easterby like Trump, you never know what they are going to do next.

And Watson like Cosby, don’t know who he’ll rape next.

LOL. I think the Easterby stuff is tied to Watson’s behavior. Easterby went overboard. Players on the team seem to have no issues with Easterbunny.

McNair is hands off and can sit back and count his money.
