I see way more Duncan than Nowitski, personally. Duncan was a smart player from a young age, not freakishly* athletic, but read the game, passed well, rebounded well, had a reliable post-game, and an all-around impact. When I think of Nowitski I think of a jump shot and scoring artist at all ranges.

It's Turkish Tim for me.

TDish on offense. That is a nice comp. But TD was elite elite on defense.

Well since Shengun is 19 years old it's a bit offensive to nickname him after any great player yet. This is the risk people run when they always name guard prospects after Jordan. But what the hey.

Could we call him The Kum Bucket? Is it too late for that one?

Aspirin Shengun does not need a nickname. He is a headache for which there is no cure.

I actually thought of that as well, but I decided that being called a “Turd” in any part of a nickname would be kinda shi**y! o_O

He only gets that name after winning ROY. Otherwise, that name needs to be set aside.

Right now his name is just Alperen Sengun. Needs to show something in the NBA against starter level competition.
