    I was always skeptical. My wife took me to one today, and she was pretty spot on on some things. It's got me wondering. I kind of want to go back now.


    How do you feel?

    In my 4th year university a psychic told me I would get a great job next year. I got so happy and partied all year. I ended up spending an additional year in school.

    This Buddhist monk / fortune teller, Cau Chin, predicted the exact age when I'd get married before I met my wife to be. No lie. At the time I was in college and thought how in the world could that happen by then?

    Was spot on about somethings, but completely wrong about other things

    He has a store front that located on Boone Rd in Alief, and a huge meditation center / temple in Stafford off of Murphy Rd

    He strictly accepts donations

    How old were you when you went and how old when you got married? What were the things he got wrong? Interesting you overlook the things he got wrong… that’s kind of how psychics work. They throw so much at the wall and feel you out with vague notions before they make the predictions.

    I’ve been to skeptics in 5 cities just for the lols. None of them have predicted anything uncanny, and many made laughably bad predictions or reads about my personal life.

    Believing that other people can read your mind is a sign of paranoia. Believing someone in a storefront can predict or see the future but cannot better their own living situation is comical.

    Psychics are a good introduction to how con men operate. Psychics, carnies, Scientologists, politicians, CBD salesmen, acupuncturists, etc etc

    this cau chin guy is scary good. I had several friends go see him and he told them crap about themselves that he couldn’t have possibly known and also predicted stuff too.

    I’ve never been. I don’t think I believe in fortune tellers, but I also believe this dude has something. So I don’t know what I believe.
