Its early. Odds are good we will have All NBA and GOAT convos before long and Cade will wind up like Delonte West talk. I have faith in CFans.
I was curious what kind of shoe Livers was wearing in comparison to what Cunnigham was wearing because I know the sole of the shoe can skew height. I finally stumbled across a picture that I hadn't seen. Remember, Livers actually measured at the NBA draft combine with an official height of 6'5.75 barefoot and 6'7.25 in shoes. It also seemed pretty clear to me that Cade was a little taller than Jalen Green and that Green is clearly taller than Josh Christopher who measured 6'3.25 barefoot. I think Jalen may be around 6'4.5-6'4.75 barefoot. Just a guess. Annoying that these guys wouldn't get measured at the combine.
I'll always remember Howard Stern show where he was seriously joshing on Magic Johnson about his supposed 6'9" height! He stood up next to Magic and said they were the same height and Howard Stern was only 6'4" or so... Magic just has a sly laugh and grin on his face.... Howard Stern said, have the lakers been lying to us all this time or if Magic had magically shrunk down to size.... lol.... The NBA's trick is to make these guys appear super human. Le fantaisie monde of sport, brought to you by the stunning illusion of Hollywood entertainment production. I personally like the NBA and Sports for the competitive side, but to each their own.
We get to relax these next two years. Better hope that the Rockets actually become good again so we don't have to be stressing out from 2024 - 2026.
It's just idiotic when people start claiming that NBA is like WWF when it comes to height listings. If people are going to claim Magic is 6'4 they should probably realise how ridiculous they look with all the photo evidence lying around. If Magic is 6'4 then Jordan is 6'2 or shorter, Muggsy's 5'0. It's nonsense.
I mentioned somewhere else that Jordan and Kobe's listed heights were in shoe heights. Kobe admitted he was 6'4 a long time ago and his wife confirmed that he was 6'4.75. I read somewhere that Jordan was measured at the Olympics at 6'4.75, but you can even find places claiming that he was 6'4.5. It is known that all these guys listed heights were in shoe heights though. Hakeem was never 7'0 tall and he always admitted as much. Charles Barkley wasn't actually 6'6. Dream and Chuck loved pointing out that their listed heights were inflated.
Now Barkley's height was overstated if I remember correctly haha. All his rebounds were effort and boxing out Edit: and timing of course
JFC are bidges really still arguing about height in here? How is this topic not done already? Why does it matter so much to you? Are y'all all 5'9" and thus all a little angry and think about height all the time? Height is exaggerated in the NBA, for some players/teams more than others. Always has been. Move on. Plus, just fyi, the Rockets ultimately did not draft Cade. /thread.
Here is the show, its as Howard Stern who was a guest on the Magic hour. Fast forward to 25 minutes 25 seconds, and it is Drew Carry who asks the question, "hey Howard Stern how is it you are 6'5" and Magic is 6'9" but y'all are the same height?" FYI, the whole show is pretty funny.
