For a lot of fans, they do not care. They want to win games at any cost, and they feel that the women involved are bimbos that wanted it....

Is that ALL the fans? No, but I have heard some variation of that from a lot of people.... "He didn't rape anyone" and "He didn't kill anyone" are the two common refrains I have heard.

What is lost in all of this is that Watson was going to force himself out of Houston BEFORE any of this broke.... he had no interest in remaining in Houston and would have likely held out and forced a trade.

He is a really good player.... but he doesn't want to be in Houston and he is a serial sexual assailant....... yet many somehow want to keep him.

Wonder if some of the "keep him" posters would feel differently if their wife or daughter was one of the massage therapists that he abused.

Deshaun Watson seemed like a good kid when he came into the league. He probably was. At the very least, he’s a prime example of how money can change people for the worse. He became entitled to the point that he thought he could call shots in organizational decisions and on a much worse scale- that he could do whatever he wanted to women and that they all either A) wanted it or B) wouldn’t dare say anything- because he’s Deshaun Watson.

I was thrilled when we drafted Deshaun. My kids and I throw the football around outside and they say they’re Deshaun. They don’t understand the severity of these allegations but it makes me sick to my stomach to know that my kids idolize someone who essentially quit on them and abuses his “power” at a minimum.

When the first few allegations came out… I was very skeptical about the women’s credibility. In hindsight I can see that the fan within me skewed my outlook. But now we have over 22 women saying the same **** about this dude.

For all the people in denial (I was at one point)- this dude is a piece of ****. He’s garbage. Straight up. Hell yeah I want to have a team that wins football games. I hope Deshaun gets whatever is coming to him. He let our entire fan base down, our children that idolize him down, and many others. I hope Caserio manages to get some value out of him if possible. And if he plays football again I won’t be rooting for him.

I’m venting here but this mf knew he had sexual assault allegations pending and really had his “team” spinning the narrative out there that Easterby and Cal were at fault and that’s why Deshaun wanted out.

A group of fans were outside of NRG protesting and people were sending death threats to Easterby. I can’t stand Easterby either… but **** Deshaun and his “team”. He wasn’t man enough to face his own problems and accept accountability for his actions and pointed the finger at others like a little b****. That’s not a grown man.

Good riddance Deshaun. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. I’d be willing to bet that Deshaun never wins a ring. He will never be the same player he was or could’ve been if he would’ve remained the same dude he was. The dark cloud of being a sexual abuser/deviant/rapist will follow him everywhere and it will eat him alive. He doesn’t seem like the type who can withstand all that negativity. Just my opinion.

I would have nothing to worry about. If my wife or daughter decided to be a masseuse I would let them know they should get a license and that there are many men out there that might want more. If anything weird happens to immediately leave the room. Just like these other women should have.

Didn't seem like it on some of the stories. As soon as he rolled over with an erection, or took his towel off to be naked, or asked for any extras just say you're not comfortable and leave. Nothing really could go any farther.

I read that several walked out, told him it was inappropriate.

To be fair, some said that and still had more massages

True sexual assault (Allegedly) isn't rape.

    Murky? LMAO

You're a lawyer, I challenge you to read through the first 13 cases and tell me there's not a pattern. Then read the lady who didn't file charges that gave her account to SI and then listen to the lady with the Fox 26 interview and get back to me.

So I'm not allowed to have an opinion based on reading the suits that have been filed and the SI article and draw a conclusion.

    Just remember OJ is innocent.

Not saying what he did wasn't wrong, he's a perv and degenerate. But I consider what Osuna did was worse and many were quick to forgive him.

Deshaun seems like a guy who came into the league as a humble and good dude, but then bought into the hype and became something different. He’s just not a particularly likable guy anymore.

I dont, while not right what Osuna did was in the heat of the moment. I'm sure he regets that night today.

What the Perv did was premeditated and even after he was aware that women were going to be filing lawsuits this perv was still out there on instagram hunting.

Exactly, a good example for me in my viewpoint regarding contrast is Justin Reid …
here’s I guy I initially was not sure of mainly because I didn’t care for his brother, but Justin was able to convey and conduct himself that absolutely did not alienate ANYONE. He didn’t compromise beliefs I’m sure but he comes across very impressive in his positive outlook of consideration for everyone, likeability and just generally how he talks and communicates that you absolutely WANT to root for him , call that charisma or leadership .. Justin has that ..,Watson has absolutely zero unfortunately

One caveat I want to put to this post.

What I really want is for Deshaun to make amends with his accusers, the Texans org, and the fans.

However, that seems unlikely to the point where I don't even consider it an option.

I hear that and agree, but I think it ignores a lot of social and economic factors. Like, walk out on the famous quarterback that the salon owner is SUPER excited to have as a client, and you walk out on your job in many cases. I just don't think it was simple for the victims of his pervy ways, but you're not wrong.

There's absolutely a pattern. And it's likely that it's all true or at least mostly so. It's also the case that's there a ton of weird **** involved here that makes no sense (on both sides). And it's also true that we've only heard one side of the story and its possible that some people want to hear both sides before making a definitive conclusion on something.

In your world, those people are worse than than sexual assaulters. You have a truly warped sense of morality.
