He's not assertive enough he has to demand it. He doesn't care enough when it comes to making his presence felt and leaving his mark on every possession. All the other top rookies do.
Mobley with 15 shots for 15 points. Similar with Suggs none of these rookies are efficient, except Green and Sengun
It's not a good look to get out rebounded by a point guard. Big men with length and athleticism that can't rebound has always been a pet peeve of mine though
On a positive not Mobleys best offensive trait by far is his passing and vision. The other stuff was always going to be a process. His offensive prowess has been mostly a projection of potential skills
Evan Mobley is just invisible on the court. Not sure what the intent is with him but I'm curious to see his development. Sengun is just a magnet to the scrum. He's always involved in something. Just not getting that from Mobley. He seems like the type of guy who tells himself during the game "I should probably be doing stuff". Not sure if you can teach having a nose for the ball but Evan doesn't have that. His passing was great though.
My thoughts exactly. In both games we played, Sengun's presence was felt on EVERY SINGLE posession. I don't feel that with Mobley. Multiple times during this game i had to look at every single Cavs player 1 by 1 to see if Mobley was even out there.
Sengun and green played in professional leagues and it shows Their transition should be better than a college player
Suggs performed better than Cade and Mobley IMO. He is going to be a good player. I still strongly believe if Jalen Green reaches his full potential, he will be the best player in this draft.
The only thing I hate about Kuminga is he is a Warrior... How tf did they end up with this man, as if they need help.... Hate it....
