This is my first time posting and I joined last year. I’m really excited about the direction this team can go. After watching the two games from summer league we have a lot of young talent with our 3 draft picks and KMJ. I got a chance to watch Garuba play and he’s raw offensively but plays lock down D. Combine these young players with Wall, Tate, Wood, and KPJ I wanted to get everyone’s take on the starting 5? 6th man? And your ideal rotation would be to start the season.
    Current roster
    Wall/KPJ/Augustin
    Green/Gordon/Christopher/Brooks
    Tate/KMJ/Nwamba/House/Lamb
    Wood/Sengun/Hurt
    Theiss/Garuba

Wall, EGordon, and House will all be gone trade/buyout

We also don’t want to compete this year because we have our draft pick

    KPJ/Augustine
    Green/Christopher
    Tate/KMJ
    Wood/Garuba
    Sengun/Theiss

    Wall
    EG
    House
    Tate
    Wood
For about 2 weeks... Get the trade value at an all-time high for the backcourt then....

    Porter
    Whoever
    Green
    Tate
    Wood

Hope for a few vets on decent salaries in trades

Im gonna assume the vets will be gone for my starting lineup. I realize thats a big assumption but none of them are going to be a part of the next Rockets playoff team so here goes...
    Pg KPJ
    SG JG4
    Sf Garuba
    Pf CWood
    C Sengun

Throw the youngsters in there with Wood and lets see what happens.

Op this topic just hit me like a ton of bricks rn. Was just gonna start a new thread so thanks.

But roster is so messy. I don't think people grasp the ramifications.
People keep Wall and vets won't be here. Thats easier said then done.
All ima said is im gald we knocked these picls out. Cause I feel we gonna have to give up alot of picks to move the vets sadly...remember thats on stone for some of the trades post harden wanting out knowledge. Love him but always gotta call balls n strikes.

This will shock fans but I think tate may be the odd man out. I think the rockets gonna run a 3mguard lineup, n its no way you have tate at the 4 so theis is gonna start next to wood.

I think this is gonna cause a split in the fan base. Man it sucks.

    Opening night.....

    Wall/KPJ/Gordon/Wood/Theis

    Green/Gordon/Cristopher/KMJ/Sengun

    Eventually it will be.....

KPJ/Green/Tate/Sengun/Wood (That has the potential to be a really nasty lineup)

    Gordon/Cristopher/KMJ/etc....

    Wall
    EG
    House
    Theis
DeSagana Diop (he needs to suit up just for one season)

With this lineup we are sure to get a good pick next season and Stone could give us another awesome player lol. Gotta keep our young ones healthy until we're ready to compete!

    Sengun-25

    Bench:
    Gordon-28

    Garuba-13
    Martin-10

I went with a 10 man rotation, but injuries, matchups, doghouse will dictate who plays. But, yes, I put all of those guys mentioned at the end of the bench.

Lots of options to mix and match.

Would sub Nwaba for Wall in "defend" category.

Sengun needs to start. I thought it would take him half a season to get there, but he is already there. He can complement Wood very well.

    Sengun Garuba
    Wood.
    Tate. MartinJr
    Green. Christopher
    PorterJr. Wall

    Hope that's the rotation.
    Keen to trade
    Gordon Theis House Nwaba

I'd like to trade Wall(and play Brooks) too but seems unlikely.

I'm of the opinion KPJ and Green must start, their era has begun.

    KPJ/Wall
    Green/Gordon
    Tate/Nwaba
    Wood/KMJ
    Theis/Sengun

Christopher and Garuba with RGV until injuries/trades. Garuba to work on offense, Christopher on point skills.

    This is my thinking too.

I don't think there's another move out there, (though I hopeful for some sort of Wall for Rubio + Love combo).

    Depth Chart:

    Wall/Augustine/Brooks
    Green/Gordon/Christopher
    KPJ/Nwaba/Khryi
    Tate/Garuba/KJ
    Wood/Sengun/Theis

    After the deadline:

    KPJ/Backup PG(Rubio?)/Augustine/Brooks
    Green/Nwaba/Christopher
    Tate/KJ/Khyri
    Garuba/Theis/Hurt?
    Wood/Sengun
