    The shooting is real nice.

The ball handling and IQ has not been so far.

I really don't like the fact he doesn't give the ball to Sengun when he's in good position. It has happened both games now.

Green looked bad under press. The first 3 turnover is just bad. He really need to work on his ball handling skill.

Too bad Detroit got another PG. Cade can't be full time PG. Having him camping in the corner is just bad.

Chemistry with Sengun will happen over time. They only started playing together for maybe a little over a week lol.

Green is obviously more comfortable with Christopher and KJ.

His handle needs improvement. His IQ is high quality as a scorer.

We saw him make several adjustments to his game in spite of the different looks Detroit threw at him.

Low iq would’ve been him chucking tough shots over multiple defenders and forcing the issue.

Instead he picked his spots and finished with an efficient 25 on 11 shots.

Sengun’s post touches is a chemistry issue. They’ll play better together over time. That’s not a concern. They just met.

This guy is a walking bucket…

Can’t wait till our entire draft haul set actually gets to see court time together this SL.

    Exciting times!

Sengun did get the ball from Green in the first game. He ended up fumbling the ball. It's obvious that they aren't used to playing with each other. Jalen isn't a true point guard, his passing will improve.

Full breakdown video. FreeDawkins is killing it these days by not just posting only the highlight plays.

Rough start. I’m actually impressed that he didn’t come out chucking. I kind of thought it was inevitable. Showed some weaknesses such as his handle which clearly needs some attention. He probably never really needed a dribble package before because he’s always been so much faster than everybody else. Learning how to handle being blitzed is something only experience can improve and he got better with it as the game progressed and picked his spots. Few instance I felt he could’ve been more aggressive with one defender on him, but he literally scored 25 on 11 shots with a shaky handle. Nice to have a guy again that at the end of the game you don’t really feel like they played their best and they still have 25-30 points.

Senguns continued willingness to run pick and roll will lead to the perimeter guys being more willing to dump the ball down into the post.

He keeps balling and looking out for his teammates and he’ll get plenty of touches.

He took only 11 shots, fewer than 3 other players on the Rockets, but scored more than anyone else.

He can improve his passing for sure, but low IQ is a very weird comment to make.

To be fair, you could possibly argue that Cunningham got the better of the 1 on 1 matchup. But there was a LOT to like from Green if he was having a bad day!!

His early drive through traffic in the lane (where he takes a dribble with each hand) was amazing. That is a feel for the game that you cannot just invent. He has the hostage dribble down. His shot is confident and pure. He can get to the line.

Playmaking - meh. He looked pretty bad on his handle when pressed, and threw some pretty sketchy passes. He needs a point guard. But that's fine - we happen to have one to play alongside him. Oh, and he's only 19, plenty of time and opportunity to learn.

Loving what we've seen so far from all 3 rookies. Doris Burke was spot on with Green when she said that if he is able to score 25 on a bad day, wow.

Like I said, shooting is real nice.

Low IQ on his decision making when the doubles came, and some of his passes.

Not really that weird, he was very lackadaisical on the hard doubles like someone else Rockets fans have watched for a while.

Hearing his comments after the game though is very promising.

It looked to me like pistons came out determined to stopping green and he wasn't ready for it. I think not having a true pg hurts him a bit too. Those are things that can be fixed. The explosiveness, the fearlessness, the ability to score by shooting 3s, driving, midrange, drives, cutting is what he has and can't be taught
