Not trying to start a debate here... but going vegan is great for losing some weight. But it's also great to lose muscle mass and bone density. It won't be good for him in the long run.
Well Garza is supposedly 6'11" and Livers is supposedly 6'7"....... so I don't know.... Cunningham looks about 6'5" unless he has a massive top of his head like Shelden Williams..... and if that is a case, does it REALLY help you? Maybe we should measure from the top of the eyeball down to get an accurate height. I do know this, Cunningham looks HIGH as **** in this picture.... I am guessing he and Josh Jackson became friends REALLY quickly.
It all depends on WHAT you eat.... but yes, I agree that lean meat should ideally be part of a diet in moderation.
Garza and Livers went to the combine, got measured at 6'10 and 6'5.75 bare foot The only question regarding that pic is there shoes, if Cade is wearing loafers and Livers dress shoes that changes it up a bit, but it looks very likely that if you were to shave Cades head that he'd be under 6'6 regardless
Curious how the "height argument" was reason to look at Green with a side eye, but now that its been disclosed that Cade is about the same height - its "no big deal" ... LOL. This place really is fickle at times. Personally I dont give a damn how tall they are as long as they can hoop.
Then I guess I am taller than Cade Cunningham as I am 6'5".... lets hope Cade really can pass then....
As we age, we need less animal protein. I understand the transition as our metabolism slows down. When young, it may cause some load issues.
Lmao, they better hope he stays far away from Josh. I'll never understand how Shellhead pulled Candace Parker. NEVER Luke measured 6'10 barefoot at the combine. https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-anthro/?sort=POSITION&dir=1
The height part matters some..... a big difference between 6'5" and 6'8"..... also Cunningham has broader shoulders and longer wingspan.... Cunningham can also likely pay point guard. Had Green measured only 6'3" with narrow shoulders and short arms it would be a bigger deal as he isn't likely to be a point guard.
I'm getting myself ready for the many screenshots of Jalen and Cade next to each other. Are they standing up straight? Is the hair affecting their height? It's almost more important than the actual game tonight.
Nook, How do you think our PG experiment will go? I realize we have the Khyri kid, perhaps even Augustin, but is KPJ going to become that PG the organization wants, or........not?
I suppose. The mystique of having a 6'8 PG was pretty well defined for Cade and it seems like its a pretty big letdown for some. Cade has plenty of body maturation to go as well he doesnt have some sculpted physique with massive shoulders or anything like that himself. He has longer arms which could be beneficial on defense sure, but then I'd say that Greens wingspan is longer than what is on file - or at least looked longer in game 1 of his Rocket career. I think I can find some pretty good shooting guards who are "only" 6'3. Lucky for "us" Green is a bonafide 6'6 and could quite possibly get taller. When I see Green play he brings an it factor that you wont be able to log in spreadsheet. Intangibles >>> Measurables. Still it was funny to have to go through the Inspector Clouseu exercises in finding pictures to prove Jalen Green was not a "midget" LOL now that Cade is "short" its just easy to shrug it off. Wonder why some Green fans are so edgy and ready to fight? Dude has been getting diminished throughout the process. Even with him being a HOUSTON ROCKET it seems that we will never be able to shake the debate of the 2021 Draft and that kind of sucks.

I think the fascination with his height lies in the question if he will still be as versatile as advertised. He was supposed to be a multi-positional player while Green was always seen as just a SG. Part of what elevated Cade was being able to play 3-4 positions. His lack of height in combination with his athletic ability makes people wonder if he will be able to do that in the NBA. I think a lot of people are just shocked and wonder if he can still be that guy that can play PG, SG, SF, and PF at an elite level. Being able to seamlessly switch defensively on most players and wreak havoc. He was never measured so do we even know if he really has a 7'0 wingspan or if that was exaggerated as well? It's possible the concerns are invalid, but I understand them. Robert Covington was able to hold his own at PF with a slight frame when he was here. RoCo is listed at 6'7 with a 7'2 wingspan. If Cade's wingspan is real he still has a chance to flourish defensively at whatever position they put him over the course of the game.
