I think Green‘s defense does matter, and is critical to his development as an elite player, exactly because it’s going to be very hard to turn him into an elite facilitator at this stage. Most either have it or not by now and one of the toughest parts of the game to just learn. It’s not impossible for him to develop but just not something I would bet on. Improving his D and becoming a two way player seems to be the easier path to stardom(which it seems he recognizes, a good start).
He’s still listed as 6’8 and 220. That’s bigger than most 1s and 2s. He still plays post and has been expected to play physical through contact etc. he was dominant in college against smaller players. This is what the experts and scouts saw.
They are crazy if they think that. Okoro couldn't even lock Green up and he's a way better defender than Hayes or Cade
I don’t know what his real height is I’m going off by what he’s listed as and like I said he was bigger than most guards in college. I haven’t seen him play in the summer league and I don’t have more info to go by. My observation of him is from college only. The public info states him at this height and weight unless you are privy to more info that’s not listed for public view.
Ive seen repeated references to this in the forum over the last few days, but haven't found the actual "measurement event" that set it off. Anybody have a link to the actual event that triggered this? Is is a leak from the Pistons? Are people just looking at a photo of him standing next to someone like they were doing with Green and Sengun? Would appreciate seeing whatever it is that started this over the last few days with my own two eyes if you or anybody else has it, if possible. Thanks in advance.
