Playoffs really exposes Players Weaknesses. Playoffs can tank a players value or raise their their value.

Dennis Schroeder thought he can play great and get a Max Contract.

    Should've taken the money.

man maybe we can get in on this somehow with a sign and trade? or can't we just cut house or augstin?

that's a good tradeable contract. two years at 9.5

Fair point but Dallas needs all the talent they can get right now.

Why would you even want him? A score first pg who can't shoot is useless.. not to mention we already have Tank Commander Wall. We need to play the rookies and young guys only.

we can still tank with him. We could easily filp that contract for first rounder. a whole bunch of contenders would pay up at the deadline. we could just put him at the three and go small. And if we are accidentally winning games, we could just lose on purpose by taking our good players out and playing our rookies even more.

nobody is giving a 1st rounder for a guy whose value isn't as high as he thought and can barely get a respectable deal at this point. if contenders actually wanted him and he was that coveted, they could just sign him outright now without giving anything up. And by the looks of things pretty cheap. but apparently a few months from now they'll give up 1st rounders. not happening

what about a contender that doesn't have the 9.5 MLE available?

His highest offer appears to be a $5.9M Tax MLE offer. No reason to bid that high just because his agent wants it lol.

i don't know. not planning to look at every roster. but he did play in that three guard lineup with paul and shai. i guess he was technically the three. I think a contender would give up a first at the deadline if they were just one piece shy from potentailly pushing them over the top.

that worked specifically for okc and their situation though. They made it work because they were forced to. He wasn't a 3. He was still a ball handling guard. And they happen to have 3 that had to play big minutes. There isn't another team like that who is a actual contender that actually needs him. And he isn't the piece that will put a team over the top. that's part of why he can't even find a place in the league atm, when most teams have already gone after the guys they wanted and prioritized. He's scraps at this point

If you believe YouTube creator, Karceno, Shroeder had a $100 million contract offer from the Knicks. He rejected the Lakers's offer because he had that "guarantee" from the Knicks. Then, he gets into trouble with LeBron and LeBron and his people get the Knicks to back away from him. Possibly even getting the rest of the NBA to do the same.

The guy has some credibility through past eventually confirmed insider information he's passed along on his channel.

He says the Knicks had to settle for Kemba Walker because LeBron is buddies with Leon Rose and asked him not to pursue Shroeder. It's debatable who would be better for the Knicks due to Kemba's contract and injury history. There were on-court arguments between LeBron and Shroeder. And Shroeder did bring up LeBron's name when discussing the Covid vaccine. That put LeBron into some warm water, not much, but still.

As far as how he would be offered a contract during the season; that's tampering and that happens. Same YouTube creator passed along intel of the Westbrook trade including the players that would be involved in the trade. Not something to definitely believe as truth, but who knows? Wouldn't surprise me.

Which team will LeBron own after he retires?
He is already a better executive than MJ

first of all that’s preposterous to think lebron could even pull that off.

second of all lebron would never do that despite any beef. Lebron is all about brothers getting paid in the nba.
