high-key DC needs to just focus on the animated division and leave the live action alone. rarely do they miss on their animated super hero stuff.
It's magical when a director and role can make use of an absolutely terrible actor like Cena. Wahlberg - trash. A+ role in Departed. Cena - trash. A+ role in SS2. Tatum - trash. Tolerable in Hateful8. Don't @ me
I stand corrected, he wasn't erect. When he got shot the combination of him falling backwards and gravity pulling the weight of his dick towards the direction his head led his body gave to the illusion of an erection. Either way, I'm never watching this movie with my daughter. Lol. I agree with you, this one is better than the first one
I didn't stutter, did I? lol. Not sure what you're getting at here. I said it was better than the first one. I consider the one from a handful of years ago the first one. It's a reboot, yeah, but that's what I consider it to be. Unless you are disagreeing with my review, then sure disagree all you want. If you don't think it's a B+, it's not to you then.
You said, this movie is not as good as the first. That's what you wrote: That's why I said it was a "one of a kind review" since I think everyone agrees the first one was pretty bad. you did stutter. Don't think I didn't see you call me a "mother****er" before the edit. I did. calm down, buddy.
You said this movie was better than the first. That was obviously a mistake. You meant to say the opposite. it's okay. calm. down. and breath, guy.
Honestly, yeah I would. Lol. Thanks for actually being civil about that as well. I looked up the reviews after the other poster mentioned it, and turns out they were not good. I have a certain fondness for the original movie as it was one of the first movies my wife and I saw when we started dating.
I'm not really sure? I kind of just watch the movies and enjoy them mostly. I'm not great at the whole rank the all time list deal.
okay, this dude is all over the damn place. now I want clarity. So you think the first movie is better than the second movie now?? again? A- for the first movie B+ for the second movie You went crazy (calling me a mother****er for no reason) and said the second movie is better than the first. making me think you mistyped You said the first one was better than the second one in your initial post so you meant what you said: YOU THINK THE FIRST MOVIE IS BETTER THAN THE SECOND MOVIE
The best comedy all comes from seeing these superheroes doing the most normal things - the justaposition of the fantastical with the very mundane - like Spoiler TDK showing Blackguard how to put on a seatbelt, then arguing about what breed of dog Weasel is folliwed by Weasel not knowing how to swim and nobody checking before hand, or Peacemaker and not-Deadshot bickering like kids The first time where i can first remember it being a noticible thing is Joss Wheedon's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" series, just with vampires and demons instead of superheroes, and he utilized the same comic relief in Avengers. Gunn is very much into that "discontinuity" between the very fantastic and the very mundane for well timed comic relief, and he's used it in all of his movies that Ive seen. Personally, its a formula that seems to work pretty well, at least on me - take these puffed up super-beings and then make them have very normal and absurd interactions. The film isnt nearly as focused or taut as GoG, but my understanding is that Marvel basically babysits their directors and offloads tons of their work on specialists, so being the "director" doesnt imply the singular vision of a "lone auteurs" that the name implies in other contexts. I really liked when the little titmouse got his revenge on Savant. That was a very satisfying scene for me.
Naw fam, you're mistaken? I was the only one in the LOKI thread who hated it. I like any genre property equally.
Thanks for clarifying. I was up all night wondering if that was a erect wiener or regular one... /sarcasm
