More likely he’s selling to focus more on the Rockets.

He sold for stock only. No cash for now, though he could sell some off in the future.

It actually would have some relevance since he's got a large presence down near the RGV (and around Austin for that matter).

A SpaceX jersey sponsor would've been pretty fun. Or honestly a NASA once would've been PERFECT. Imagine that?

Was it Tilman that was interested in nfl ownership? I know some other current team owner was interested but had ownership stakes in a casino which is prohibited by nfl owners, if I’m not mistaken.
Maybe he’s looking to purchase minority stake in Texans…

he said he loves the rockets but 'nfl is the nfl' and he would dream about owning an nfl team. I hope he does it. Or him and texans split half for the ultimate duo ownership.

he'd be a wild card, but he has money, hes willing to spend with the big picture and big brand rather than yearly profits and ties to change the game with the best product on oppose to tilman who cheaped out during a title window, blamed and deflected on nayone else to anyone who still believes him....yea its a no brainer...an actual billionaire or Dollar Value dolan...

by holding his ‘chips’ for a year and taking a Board position? And tying in sponsorship ‘deal’ with Rox? Oh, and lobbying for AZ-esque legislative acquiescence (oops, understanding)?

This is actually a pretty desperate move to do this right now just a year or two away from sports betting going nuts being legalized. My guess is he thought the branding of Golden Nugget wouldn't resonate with sports betting like MGM or Caesars would. I hope he at the very least has a licensing deal to use the Nugget name sort of like what Trump did after his businesses went bankrupt in the 90's.

Tillman must need cash like real real bad. Tillman seems to have almost no liquidity at all.
