lol i remmember when dmo took anthony davis to school...and dmo has nothing on sengun...au contraire!
I personally really liked dmo. I thought he would have been what we wanted out of Ryan Anderson and then some. Its tragic that his career ended bc of injuries and a bad agent. But dmo got to that stage after having time to develop. He did not come into the league a finish product. If you are going to compare sengun to hum then compare him to dmo that came into the league not the dmo that left the league
prolly your perception, hate for mavs or something around that I LOVE IT and see nothing creepy there
same here btw i might be wrong but imho no dmo version is better than sengun.... dmo had a lot of moves, but they were kinda learned by heart and drilled in practice.. sengun has less moves but the moves come to sengun more naturaly and situationaly, and he has better motor, hands, better handles quickness, shotblocking ability and reading of the game, better everything except 3pt shot
D-Mo came into the league with an automatic hook shot iirc and had a good amount of quickness and spins already. Much of that was lost though after he bulked up to transition from 4 to 5 and then completely lost after his back injury. He also definitely developed a much better 3pt shot than what Sengun has now, but that was later on. But hey, he has his rights now!
the pass is awesome but imho more impresive is handles and how is he threat from perimeter, you need to double him on perimeter or hes going by your guy straight to the hoop not sure if thats is a desirable direction but i have a feeling he could play point forward no problem
Also the dribbles, the spin got the other defender committed and his awareness that the corner is open. Well coached already.
If you weren’t encouraged by what you saw last night from Sengun then you’re just being a “Negative Nancy”!! I can see why John Hollinger had him so high up on his draft board! I know it’s only one game and it’s in summer league but his potential is obvious! My only concern is that he doesn’t get a crappy agent who fills him moronic ideas and such… Spoiler Hope he keeps his interpreter doe.. Go Rockets!!! ……. ……. …….
His confidence and toughness were what most impressed me. We knew he's super skilled. We got a PLAYER.
Tired of having his heart broken, DD is trying really hard not to fall in love with the team's new Euro-guy. Ironically, this is the time he should be all in.
Meanwhile, we were listening an interview on the screen and this one didn't attract enough attention. How many times did Sengun block Mobley yesterday? Two or three? And about 3 inches shorter than him...
