That step back is a thing of beauty. If that's the start point then I have no fear that he won't become a serious problem on offense as he develops.
Ya. One big step he can make is using his handles more to create separation. Right now he does it almost through pure agility.
He showed on day one that he isn't just some athletic freak but a skilled offensive player with lots of room to grow
Put your pom poms down sweetie...don't want fat boy to smother you. Maybe take up for the 19 year old kid on the team you root for instead of an obese dork who couldn't get laid with 1k in his hand. That work?
I like how this video shows his misses as well. I really wanted to see that move he made at 3:06 again where the layup kind of made a spin around the rim, but didn’t fall. That was one of his most impressive moves of the night to me.
He has a history of being over opinionated while never looking in the mirror. No secret he has a soft spot for white Euro players while a 19 year old in JC "Sucks". He's a fat slob. No debating that. Glass houses. JC can work on his game. Jabba the DD can stop eating
I don't check in on here nearly as often as I used to back in the day, but after seeing this thread I just want to say that it's so comforting to know that even after over 20 years have passed, this board's favorite pastime is still clowning DD
Let's give it more than one summer league game before we proclaim anyone sucks or is amazing. These are 19 year old kids.
Seguin @ 27 years old may be on another level from Scola. This kid needs to get in the weight room though.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/international/players/luis-scola-1.html from this it looks like Scola started with the national team at age 24. I suppose he played before that as well maybe but I don't know.
