What is "walking back the post" even mean? I corrected the autocorrect mistake as soon as I saw it and replied "ya that's a bad autocorrect fail" due to someone replying to it. Do you want me to reverse time also? It's about you because you are literally the only one spamming the accusations and derailing the thread while literally everyone else has the decency and the common sense to know it was a mistake. I don't want to derail the thread but if someone is going to accuse me of something really bad I have to defend myself from shitty accusations. So you are the one who can stop derailing by making a bad faith assumption that I did it on purpose.
Green - A Sengun - A Christopher - B - would have been a C but his D was good and expectations from a low pick....expect him to be in the G league all year. DD
Apologize for YOUR OWN error instead of trying to defame me. YOU called ME a liar remember, and much more besides.
Yes sir. Green flashed all the brilliance of a superstar in the making. And Sengun was everything I had hoped for in his first live game. What he lacks in athleticism he makes up in IQ and being in the right place at the right time. You guys already see the Green/Sengun duo setting up and his rebound and FT rate. He’s going to get people in foul trouble. He also has that Jokic passing potential. But the biggest gut punch to the haters will be his defense. He is not what they claimed. Just drafting those two is a huge win. As far as Josh I can see potential too but he will have to become a pass first player and defer iso to KPJ and/or Jalen. His scoring should be geared more on aggressive fast break situations and getting a consistent 3 point shot. I can see his biggest impact being on the defensive end.
I hope every word of this is true. That being said even if its not we have to all agree Stone did a great job witht he info given.
Good context. I will say that his 5 turnovers to 2 assists is still concerning because that, aside from his lack of explosive athleticism, was his biggest area of concern coming out of college. Everybody misses out on lots of potential assists each game. I watched the whole game and outside of the first 2 shots he made which were 3 pointers, there was only one other play (steal/dunk) that I saw that made me excited while watching him play. What I’m saying is I’d like to have seen more flashes. For example you could’ve been like he played well, his shot just didn’t fall, but I don’t feel like he played well. It seemed to me like Mobley even had more flashes. Had we drafted him, I’d be telling myself it’s just one game, but I would be a little concerned because his 2 biggest knocks were on full display tonight. He struggled to get to the basket all night so he was just a jump shooter and also turnover prone. All that said, Killian Hayes. Oh my goodness. 7th pick in the draft last year. He was just flat out awful. He played like somebody that may be out of the league after his rookie contract if he doesn’t figure it out.
I'm feeling grateful that we landed the number 2 pick because at number one we would be compelled to take Cade due to media pressure.
And you accused him of using the word monkey while referring to a basketball player of color on purpose. Which he said that he didn't. Accept it and move on.
I would have taken Cade over Green, I’ll admit that. I chilled on Mobley when he refused to workout for us. Confirmed my concerns that his mindset is more passive than I prefer.
I don't think you should switch up after this one game. We all know one game means nothing. But it's cool to see that you're clearly rooting for Green because some posters still don't because they didn't like him pre-draft.
I cant wait til they start giving segun the ball in the high post and moving off the ball. His passes to green and kpj will be special.
