Hahaha where are all the Mobley lovers now? The guy is exactly what I thought he was. Green is going to be a superstar.

It's only the summer league and very early, and I think if he gains weight he will be a beast down the road.

That being said if they throw him in the G league and he plays Ignite this year I may laugh out loud.

Let's chill. It's a preseason game. It is funny though as we got to see clips of Cam...Mobley (sorry for insulting Marcus) hitting jumpers in practice and crossing over assistant coaches

    Green has potential. Mobley...lol

    Mobleys upside is there.

But his warts were on full display. He looked like the 4th or 5th best player today.

We all got to see why he skipped working out for Houston and Detroit. He wasn’t going to ever get picked that high and knew it.

I thought Mobley looked good. He failed at getting buckets in the 4th, but that's not his game*. He was affecting the game on defense and made good decisions moving the ball around on offense. He will be a great supporting player, even if he never becomes a franchise player.

*PS - it was also my stated reason for not preferring him to Green pre-draft.

    LOL

All these posters trying to come in here after 1 SL game is hilarious.

If Green had an off game it would be equally as inane to put him down.

The day wouldn't be complete without these knee jerk posts. I bet y'all will be the same guys who will post against our rookies once they have an off night. I watched the full game and I didn't see any signs of Mobley being a bust but rather someone who has tons of potential. Big men usually take longer to get used to the NBA speed and physicality.

Yeah I never bought into that "Mobley is KD" bs lmao.

Dude shot 30% from 3 and 69% from ft. Fts are the best indicator of 3 pt shots if you cant hit fts at a high rate you wont be able to hit 3s at a high clip either.

I also didnt see that "dominant defense" he was supposed to bring at the end of the day he was beating up college dudes with no NBA prospects, SL is just a small step above that and while he had 3 blocks he didnt really have the dominant defensive impact the Mobley mob were saying.

I think Mobley can still be a great player, and can def turn out to be tje best guy in this draft. But he is raw and a huge project, nowhere near AD which was what I was saying prior to the draft.

Agree. But it is clear he wont be dominant defensively day 1 which is what the Mobley mob were saying. If he cant dominate SL then he def wont dominate the NBA.

I agree one game means nothing. However, I'm on record about about Mobley

Imagine if Mobley had 15p 15r and 4 blocks.
This place and Twitter would be going crazy.

Yeah you can drive in transition... Transition defense is also a thing and some players are better at driving down hill in transition better than others.

If Green has a off night shooting he would still be more impressive due to his aggressiveness and ability to get up shots at will which is a talent in itself.
