Cp3 woulda been voted out anyways. The players were getting tired of his closeness to lebron and klutch sports
I'm not so sure Grant Williams will be in the league after his rookie contract, does he keep his role as a non-nba player?
They are the best-paid athletes in sports with the most power. I think CP3 did a pretty good job. I think they have overtaken baseball as the best union in sports.
Lol I just dont think being president should be used as an excuse to take the bag when thats what you wanted to do all along. Lemme guess if Cp3 knew his term would end he woulda taken the vet min right? But too bad he got deceived into taking the 120M over 4 years or w/e his new deal is...
cmon taking a paycute in order to win is as weak as joining the super team in order to win...its meaningless... its like using a cheatcode to beat a video game because you cant do it the right way and having no clue how much greater it is to be trying to win the right way (and not succeeding) than simply beating it with a cheat code....lolololol
I dont care whether its wrong or right, I'm just saying you shouldnt use the NBPA position as shield to say you should be taking the max cuz otherwise the other NBA players will be mad. As for joining a super team, I mean MJ won all his rings being in a super team, thats part of the reason they had the best regular season record before GSW. Nobody ever gives a F right? It's always MJ 6 rings, 100% in the Finals. Also MJ and Pippen were massively underpaid for most of their careers, so yeah they took a paycut too.
I'm a little surprised. CJ doesn't seem like the kind of guy that other players will listen to and fall in line with. He doesn't seem to have the same pull as CP3 or LeBron from a leadership perspective. But then again I don't know that many under 30 players that seem to have leadership qualities or respect of players beyond their game. Maybe Jalen Brown?
