You guys are going to be incredibly disappointed in drafting Green over Suggs. Rockets let the media dictate their draft pick.

Wall certainly thinks he is capable, but don't expect a W if he does get it.

Well, if that’s the case then Cleveland and Toronto also made the same mistake on passing on him, so I won’t feel as bad.

All those guys played together on the same team at the FIBA U19 tournament a few years ago. Mobley, Cunningham, and Haliburton were on that team, too.

Wonder which of the young guns are going to spend most of their time with Vipers.

    Jaygup for sure.

Hurt, Snipa, Lamb if they are still on team.

Imagine thinking that an entire organization let random people from the media determine who they take

The more conspicuous thing is that you knew whom to pick among the Top 2 the last 1 or 2 decades.

I don't know if he'll spend the most time but I can see Usman spending a lot of time down there. It's about development and even though he has the raw skills, he's rather new to the game. He needs as much playing time as possible. In fact I think he'll get more Viper time than Jaygup but I see that as a good thing.

Maybe...but he does have a lot of Euro League experience and the awards (most in this Draft) to prove it. Usman joined Real Madrid B at age 12. His awards include FIBA U16 European Champion MVP (2016) at 14 years old, EB Next Generation Tournament Champion (2019), LIGA ACB Champion (2019), Supercopa Winner (2020), 2x ACB All Young Players Team (2020-2021), ACB Best Young Player (2021), EuroLeague Rising Star (2021) among others.

Not only is he a pro with a lot of relative experience for his age, but he does the one thing that seems to translate to immediate playing time for young players - defense

His super raw offense screams g-league for 2 years, his polished versatile high IQ defense screams immediate impact, could go either way

I totally agree. But the puzzling thing is that he was only the third player ever to average a triple double when he won the FIBA U16 European Champion MVP in 2016 at 14 years old. Maybe he does have an unlocked offensive aptitude and was told to keep it in check because of his young age playing with seasoned scorers and his exceptional defense for such a young player.

If he was THAT raw offensively he would have not played that much on a top Euroleague team. He's raw at NBA level, but not GLeague raw (or at least it would surprise me a lot if he was sent to the Vipers).

It feels like Christmas with newly acquired insecure people that think over buying will make the relationship more meaningful. It’s going to be nice, very nice. I am truly thankful for whatever; but OTH I hope I really like & can use it.

I know, things have changed because of A.A.U.

These kids know each other from their teenage teams and keep in touch.
Back in the days MJ, Bird, Magic wanted to rip out the throats of the competition.

Most of them anyway, Magic and Isaiah Thomas were good friends
