I know his brother. He's super cool. Would never think he would do something so stupid, other than the fact he voted for Trump and he's a cop. He's a POC also.
I wish the neigh sayers the best. His bro is a horse, of course, of course, And no one can talk when their voice is hoarse of course That is, of course, unless hoarse voice is from the famous Mr. Covid
The goal is to reduce spread so we can all move forward with our lives and not have our hospitals overloaded with COVID cases due to a large number of unvaccinated people, and also avoid more dangerous versions of the virus from developing. If I’m living with an unvaccinated person, my real concern isn’t me getting sick from COVID. My concern is now I am at an increased risk of spreading COVID to others and making them sick. Like, if I’m refusing to get a flu shot because I’m healthy and I am just not concerned about getting sick, that’s still not a good enough reason not to get it. You get the shot for the health of your community, particularly the most vulnerable in that community.
There are essentially two types of unvaccinated people. There are those who can easily get a vaccine, but choose not to for whatever personal reasons. And then there are those for whom getting a vaccine is just not that easy due to job situation, location, lack of child care, etc. This talks about those people: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/08/06/...cinated.amp.html?referringSource=articleShare Ideally we get everyone in the second group vaccinated and just leave everyone in the first group to their own fate. But doing that is very difficult, and meanwhile they are getting sick in part due to people in that first group. So, again, people in that first group also really need to think more about the vulnerable people in their community who for a variety of reasons other than personal choice are not vaccinated.
It's frankly shocking. I remember as a kid schools would inform if a kid has head lice. So this is saying schools don't have to inform or trace if a kid has something that isn't just very annoying but deadly and more contagious than head lice. EDIT just missed that NewRoxfan had mentioned the head lice policy.
Nice screen shot (an actual link for the full context of the conversation would have been better). Here’s a more informative graphic:
As expected , a completely specious argument... that the Press Secretary, vaccinated, at a safe distance from reporters, shouldn't call out for safe pandemic practices for children...
