Seems I recall Khyri Thomas having a 10 assist game towards end of the year. I'd nominate him for the duty.
Sengun is never going to be Jokic since Alperin doesn't have that frame. But he won't get pushed around by very many forwards (and neither will Garuba). And Sengun's rebounding instincts are off the charts. He plays much bigger than 6'9.
What are the odds Green is the same exact weight at 178 from before the G-league season? These measurements should be ignored, for the most part, Christopher was measured at 6'3 barefoot less than 2 months ago at the combine. I wish we could legit measurements from teams but its seems like the combine is the only place that we know are legit
After this post, I read most of this guy's (Itamar) old tweets. Oddly enough, he unnecessarily criticized Sengun, who hasn't even played an official game for the Rockets yet. I didn't understand what his problem was but this guy also said that an 18 year old can't get taller and then he was glad that KJ got taller. He's kinda weird. I am sure that, after a Sengun's slightest mistake or bad game, he will immediately take his phone and tweet "I TOLD YOU". The existence of such people is a great misfortune for the whole world.
Are those heights barefooted?? Because then with shoes JG could play at 6’7 And Sengun would be 6’10 Same with usman would be 6’9
I'm curious how much G-League reduced Green's stocks by (even though he was still consensus top 3 pick). G-League gives him less exposure, less attention, and it looks like his height measurements are also accurate/bare foot as opposed to the inflated versions in college. Maybe he wasn't wrong when he said he would have been no.1 pick if he went to college. The difference between being listed at 6'8" vs 6'6" is quite massive, especially if you are a hyper athletic shooter.
That's amazing news. I thought we'd be able to bring him over, but still had a nagging worry. I'm sure Real Madrid hated to lose him.
It's hard to tell what is what with the NBA/Rockets anymore. NBA heights were supposed to be converted to a standardized "barefoot" measurement a couple of years ago, but if you look at Josh Christopher's height on Rockets.com, it's 6'3". If you look up there, it's 6'5". At the combine, he was measured at 6'3.25" barefoot and 6'4.5" in shoes, so I'm guessing the 6'3" barefoot is correct and they rounded up the w/ shoes height to get the 6'5". Kenyon Martin, Jr. was 6'6" barefoot and 6'7" with shoes at the combine. Above, he's listed as 6'7". It makes me think those heights are with shoes. But I dunno.
It's total ****ery, I don't understand it and it drives me nuts Why are they still measuring with shoes at the combine if the league is only doing barefoot listings? Why can't we trust teams to make and list accurate measurements? It seems like, some players on some teams are legitimately measured by the team - for example, Cade got listed at 6'6 by the Pistons, but most other players clearly copy and pasted from old sources - Green's weight/height, Christopher measurements, etc. The same exact thing happened when the league did "updated measurements" and half the league magically grew to their with shoe combine heights, while the other half lost an inch. On a separate note, I've noticed this, KPJ went from being listed at 218 pounds in college to 212 at the combine, to 203 by the NBA. If this trend continues the boy is gonna turn into Corey Brewer before our own eyes. Losing 15 pounds from 18 to 20 for a guard who didn't have any fat is nuts.
Maybe he figures "zero" is like not having any number, at least till he buys #4 or it "becomes" available! lol Or maybe he sees himself as the new "Agent Zero"! "Hibachi" maybe?
