Bregman has basically been average at the plate this season. Are we waiting on him to save us? He has 7 homeruns in 229 plate appearances with 63 total hits and 98 total bases in 59 games. His slugging and OPS are down as well. Those numbers are a ways off from what he gave us in 2018 - 2019 if you extrapolate out to a full season. I'm not expecting much from Bregman the rest of the way and I have serious doubts about how offensively tuned he will be for a playoff run. He's such a finnicky hitter who struggles for long stretches.

 

Was listening to the radio yesterday and they said Robel Garcia missed out a double play because he didn't appear to know there was only 1 out.

 

No one's about to tell me Robel Garcia and Taylor Jones are better than Meyers.
