Yes, because scouts are dumb. No way Scottie Barnes should go before Kuminga Raptors will be lucky to get John Henson NBA numbers before it's all said and done. The Draymond passing aspect only works if teams fear Barnes putting it on the ground and dribble drive. Barnes will never be Dray in that aspect. Scottie blocks and rebounding were pedestrian in college. Not sure those pedestrian numbers will get better at the greatest level (NBA). But you can hope.
Its likely they’ll both be really good . Which is why no one was able to trade up in the draft any earlier than the 10th pick -the top of this class is solid and deep. I’m still on a high from the rockets trading up to 16 to get Sengun, who probably should have been a top 10 pick.
