    no, that’s not true. it’s an expensive pick, but obviously he will be here this season. His buyout increases every season, why stash him on a non-NBA team? This guy has been playing with pros since early teens, on day 1 of training camp he’s going to be advising our other rookies on how to be professional basketball players.

    I hope so, too. From what I understand he (him alone) has to pay for his buy out. Maybe he can get a healthy signing bonus. BUT first round contracts are scaled. This is my understanding…. I am nothing more than fan that follows our team & I hope I am wrong. He is still under contract with a professional team. One would think his current team will hold to his signing.

    he was not going to be a draft and stash for anyone. He will arrange a payment plan and come over - that has been reported by all the people who know the details. And no one who picked ahead of the Rockets is a serious contender, so he didn’t fall because of that.

    So saying he fell because he was a draft and stash was just wrong. Not much debate here - just someone who admitted he doesn’t know the details nonetheless asserting something very definitively.

    I'm surprised that Garuba is 220 lbs. That might increase his speed. He is such an awesome defender, Tatum got a rude awakening. What should be his ideal weight in the future? His body frame is similar to Draymond's.

    His teammates reenacting the selection, receiving the Rocket hat and interview for Usman!

    So heartwarming I don't even mind Llull being there.
