Baloney. Enough with the pity party.

The Texans are disrespected because they are a legitimately poorly run franchise with nothing to like about them. Despite ALL THAT, they get an incredible amount of national publicity.

In basketball, Houston is among the most respected franchises in the league and always in the national spotlight

The astros cheated, and outside of Dodgers and Yankees fans (hypocrites), no one really cares

This Houston inferiority complex is mind boggling. Other cities wish they were in the headlines as regularly as houston is

All the other team fans have booed the Astros, when they go and play into their stadium, its just not Dodgers and Yankees.
Rockets are not respected, how many star players want to play in Houston? Harden gone, Westbrook, Chris Paul gone.
even the Rockets didnt get any respect during their championship, they say the Rockets didnt deserve the championships
Every Houston championship is not respected, (Rockets and Astros) all three has asterisks, one because Jordan didnt play, and Astros with the scandal.

Houston is in the headlines, for only bad news, (Rockets, Astros, Texans)
Rockets get publicity because Harden requested trade
Astros get headlines because of the cheating scandal, and how they get booed everywhere
Texans got in the headlines for all bad things, they deserved it because the awful ownership, and awful decisions.

Not to mention, Dodgers, Yankees and Sox have all been accused of the same cheating the Stros did

Astros still winning though. Houston is the city that they love to hate. We are the villains of all sports for some stupid reason.

No pity. In the media world, Houston is low-hanging fruit. And its mainly due to the ultra-soft local media presence... and while Houston fans can be a fairly vocal bunch on twitter/BBS venues, there's not enough of a coordinated uproar that the national pundits would ever care about jilting.

Case in point... the Texans sell out training camp despite all the apathy around here.

Could you imagine if the Texans traded Watson to the Colts? That is how this situation could get worse for Texans fans.

They have I think two of their firsts, but one is a second rounder that could be a first with playing time. Can’t remember when though, need to look up the deal

Also the saying... THERE IS A FOOL BORN EVERY MINUTE.

I was hoping if the fans didn't show, Cal would get the message but there they are.

Lol...now the colts will go 2 - 15 and draft their next stud qb behind Manning and Luck.

The problem: There is no stud QB prospect in next year's draft.
