This is a very good pickup by NOP.

This dude was one of the best 3 point shooters in the league before the pandemic started.

He is still very young and the contract is very team friendly and I am pretty sure the first round pick is either heavily protected or via other teams.

Never trust a GM whose only known from a Lebron team. LeBron is the GM and recruiter of his teams and the best recruiter in NBA history.

I mean to be fair he had a great start right? That AD situation was handled extremely well, and the package they got for him was a king's ransom.

It's just become apparent he kinda sucks at player evaluation lol and also doesnt seem to understand what Zion needs around him. He needs shooters and spacers but NO got Jaxson Hayes, Derrick Favors and Steven Adams to be his front court mate. Their old coach was doing great but got replaced for SVG. Now he traded away one of Zion's best buddies for Davonte Gram and lost a FRP in the process. Just dumb moves all around can def see Zion going to NYC forst chance he is able to.

 

Yeah, you are talking about a top 5 pick got dumped 2 years into his rookie contract and just because he got a bounce back year last season but clearly the team doesnt want him to run the offense to delay Zion's development.

And you expect NOP to resign him comparing to another top 10 three point shooter in the league while also having a much friendly contract?
