The Rockets were close to an agreement Monday with forward David Nwaba on a three-year deal that would be worth up to $15 million, a person with knowledge of the deal said. The first two seasons of the contract would be fully guaranteed, he said, with a team option for the third.
Great for David to play himself into some money after his injury. Glad we are filling out the roster with some small money rotation deals.
I am really happy with this deal. And he can play minutes at the 3. Very versatile, hard working, athletic, underrated player! Actually plays D too.
Hope there's room left for Gerald Green to get paid, but this is excellent, did not expect us to get it done though I think Bima predicted we would re-sign him (over Brown among others).
