Off Season: Free Agents \ Buyouts\ etc.

Free agency just got more fun, however, now we won't have decisions made immediately lol, of course if he resigns like Woj is saying than everything back to normal.

 

Malik Monk is definitely an interesting name. Super athletic, can score in bunches and drastically improved his 3-pt percentage.

If we weren’t so crowded in the backcourt he would definitely be a player to target.

 

Rockets are fielding calls for John Wall, look for something soon

 

Only way we do that trade is if they take patrick fertitta in the trade too... then it's a win win situation. Morey and tad brown stuck with fertitta family with john wall and we get tobias.

 

I hope Rockets are NOT dumping FRP to do so.

Unless it's for a young player - 25 or younger.

There are a very few teams that could actually use John, even at the high price. Out of curiosity, how does the 2022 free agent class look?? That will really dictate if we can even dream of moving John this offseason.

Also, this season, who can use a PG. Off the top of my head:

• Clippers (maybe, I just remembered that Reggie Jackson had a damn nice memorable playoff run)
• Knicks
• Bulls
• Miami

Thats all I can think off. In this market, you have Lowry and Lonzo Ball that are desirable. Conley and CP3 are likely to resign with their teams.

Very very limited market. Bulls will likely go after Lonzo hard as will the Clippers. Once one of those teams strike out (hopefully Pelicans just match), they may try to make something for Wall work.

Wall only has two years left, even at a really high salary it could maybe work.
