No more 2nd trade deadline where players could be traded if they passed through waivers, so no more trades. The only way to add a player is through a waiver claim or pick up somebody who had passed through waivers. And considering where the Astros are record-wise and how waivers work, highly doubtful that the Astros get a waiver claim. And if the player passed through waivers, I'm not sure if the player would be someone who could help the Astros.
