Career lefties' slash line against him: .174/.264/.252. On the other hand, righties are absolutely crushing him: .297/.377/.525 That's pure LOOGY right there. The 3 batter rule is killing him. I think there's a role for him on the team given his lefty dominance but he's gotta be used VERY strategically.
Not sure if anyone has said this but why the hell aren’t any of these games nationally televised? It’s the two best teams in baseball going head to head.
A's-Angels on FS1 at 3. My only guess is that they locked in the broadcast schedule months ago before they knew the Giants would be this good.
One was, iirc, because I think I remember Pierzynskwit in the booth and thus I synched up the radio broadcast with the tv feed.
I love Greinke batting 8th in the order. Pressly Graveman Garcia Maton Stanek Javier Taylor Montero Raley Not bad, am curious if Montero was somebody Click asked for or was forced to take.
Im sure Click asked for him. Montero was the Mariners opening day closer until he fell off a cliff. Hopefully Strom can do correct some of his habits and get him on track again.
Going back to 2013 Greinke and Maldonado basically have the same OPS (.627 for Greinke, .634 for Maldy)
He was asked for. That’s why Dipoto traded for Toro the day after the Astros bullpen meltdown. Montero was about to go through waivers and any team could have got him.
