    most teams can’t go for playoffs after a rebuild year because it takes a few seasons to get enough lottery talent to make a playoff run. We got 3 lotto level players in this draft. Playoffs is a very lofty goal, but it should absolutely be the goal.

    Do you know how good of a sign it would be for a team led by 4 19 year olds and 4 vets to make the playoffs in the west? I give it a 1% chance at best. Would be unprecedented.

    They will have to work it out but just last year one was worked out on Euro 6 million buyout. Kind of like the politicians do - pay someone close so they can send the money back to Usman in a marketing contract or something

    and it doesnt even matter if they reach the goal or not, the real goal is the progress, chemistry and the journey that happens while you are trying to attain it and fighting tooth and nail to win every game, imho that is how you grow as a team, how every individuals game progress fastest and how you develop the best ...and this is so different from tanking and giving away games purposefully

    Utah made that same mistake with Favors. To make matters worst Favor was a backup center. They had to give up first round pick to get rid of him
    That’s why I’d rather resign Olynyk if the money isn’t far off. It felt like our offense didn’t take off until Olynyk came
