I like this but if Olynyk is only a couple mill more, I’d rather resign Olynyk

I love Olynyk, but Theis is a much better defender.

I’ve accepted that he’s probably not resigning. Dude’s gonna be paid by someone and he deserves it.

I've always liked Theis and he would be a solid vet compliment to current bigs. Because KO is different player, I hope this is not signaling we're out on Kelly.

I have read this before regarding Theis. I like it.
I don't know whether to believe Bleacher Report or not? I wasn't aware that the Mavs want to sign Sterling Brown. @Clutch

    Who is theis guy?

At least Sterling Brown won some games for the Rockets.

Aren't they signing Usman Garuda? Dont need theis guy. I want Zion Williamson instead or Clint Capela.

Trade John Wall for Clint Capela.

Not Olynk, but he’s good. Dirty player, we will need that.

I mean Olynyk is a good player, liked having him here, but we have Wood, one offensive big that will need shots...and now Sengun, another. We're definitely going to need more defensive hustle bigs, he fills that role.

letting go of Brown I get that too, with Green and Christopher being added to the team, we're going to have to get rid of some of our wings. Brown, House...

EDIT: Also, I think the Rockets will try to put the best team they can out there. I know people won't like that, but they tried that last year too. I don't think the goal going into next season is to tank. The goal will be to hope that this is a young team way ahead of schedule and so they are going to mix in some vets with this roster.

Mentorship, guidance, along with the ability to do some nice things on the court are all positives a veteran presence can bring to a team that's rebuilding. Throwing a bunch of 19 year old rookies out there for 48 minutes of an NBA game would be disastrous, and probably unwatchable. Theis is not keeping Sengun or Garuba from developing.

I like Theis. Would be a good move. He compliments the other bigs well.
