    This our EGo insurance.

Think offense off the bench, also athletic AF.

And better defender than BOTH Green and Porter.

    Warming up to pick.

Christopher is strong as an ox but his shooting motion is whack.

And like Green, he is better on ball defender than off ball. It is likely due to IQ than effort.

Likely upside is poor man's Jaden Hardy.

He's THICC. Wonder how good a defensive lineup of JC/Tate/Garuba could be in a couple of years

Who are you trying to fool Ra-fell? The denial was almost funny.

The cat's out of the bag, your crap culture never went away.

Don't know much about the kid but a couple of my hoop head buddies are more excited about him than Green or anyone else lol

His nickname is "Jaygup". I know that much.

    Edit: pretty much that was already posted so here's something that might not be? Some combine highlights that helped push him up the draft board;

He's pumped to be in HTown!!! Don't forget you can change your vote after scouting him!

I haven't watched a lot of JC yet, but one thing I know is that Stone doesn't share in the comparison of him to Harden or Lou Wil.
Not because of his offense but because as Stone said in his post draft presser, Christopher has the potential to be a "lockdown defender"!

Let's hope his eye was right on this one too!

I love that all these guys like each other. That's important for a young team building together. I was meh on the pick but I am starting to warm up to it

Stone just “doing a friend a favor” vs making the best choice - prove me wrong. Another Bobby Brown signing.... sure hope it helps the star rise.

I don't think this is "catering to stars" like with Harden. In fact, considering one of the kids we have big plans for has off-court concerns this could be an even smarter move than it's getting credit for. Green's already friends with Christopher, and has a friendship built up with KP already. I think there's a lot worse things you could do than surround KP with similar age guys who aren't as controversial (like seriously, Green has a phenomenal attitude) and hope they rub off on him personality wise. A happy KP surrounded by actual friends is much more likely to hit his ceiling and not do stupid things I think.

I would actually love it if this is a team building move rather than stone cold bpa...basketball is a team game and creating a fine environment is key to development of players...

Everyone wanted BPA with our 3 picks. Well we did that with our first 3. I like this pick. In four years, at least 2 of these guys will be extra solid and christopher has a fine chance.

I don't know about this pick, I thought Grimes is far ahead. Grimes gives you shooting, he gives you defense. Grimes is a complete player.
