Remember how LBJ reacted to JR Smith screwing up in the playoffs? Cant wait till he sees WB shoot bricks, throw passes out of bounds, dribble off his foot, all game long.
Who cares? Trading Westbrook led to the Rockets landing the #2 pick. That's better than being dragged to the 10th seed. I think we should all at least appreciate that, on paper, Houston is set up really well for a rebuild. Houston got a great jump start with Porter and will add Green. Then wait and see whether Wood explodes to All-Star level which could lead to return to competition sooner or, more likely, a phenomenal asset to trade for a nice return. Wall's contract is bad, but overall Houston is in a very nice spot going forward. I'd argue Houston has a clearer path to competing sooner than other teams stuck in rebuilds or mediocrity like Cleveland, Orlando, San Antonio, Sacramento, Washington, Detroit or Oklahoma City.
Kcp, kuz, and harrel would not have taken this team to the 10th seed. However they would would all be easily movable.
LOL, so either LeBron or Westbrook will have to play off-ball. Hmm. Can't see that working either way. LeBron off-ball is completely wasted. Westbrook off-ball is worse than useless, it actually hurts the team since he kills spacing. The Rockets already tried this, and it failed (against the Lakers no less). Not sure what LA is thinking. Are they going to have Westbrook come off the bench?
Yea this makes sense, like the nets for these vets who have been around and won rings, the regular season is a long grind. So let psychotic Russ carry the load there which is his specialty, and if theres any human in the world who can reign in Russ, its lebron james
Their transition game is gonna be nasty. I'm intrigued, if LeBron can get Russ to stop taking dumb shots this could work. I was expecting Buddy but this has higher potential
