When did that become a factor in public opinion?

Wow! "Domestic disturbances" have to be a cop's nightmare.

This is shocking to me, according to Space Jam 2 (which I haven't seen), isn't Lebron a family man? :D

yeah you're flat out wrong. There's clear video of Ujiri minding his own business and trying to making his way on the court after the Raps won from the sidelines. He's even gabbing his credentials while doing this. The cop then gets infront of him and shoves him not once but twice. Whatever angle you thought you saw is clearly wrong

Are Lebron James DMs an event the average fan is expected to be aware of?

I'll wait for the video before judging either the police or Hayes. Also that oakland cop involve in the Masai case should've been fired. Wish Masai sued his ass. Cops like that give the entire department a bad name. Dude was a crook and was previously caught committing workers comp fraud.

Yolo, again I used to agree with you 100%. It's crazy how different videos can tell different stories.

I will link the video I saw. Sure, the cop escalated it, but I believe Ujiri started it. Ujiri was grabbing his credentials, but never stopped. He tried to walk through the cop without stopping or showing his credentials. When the cop did exactly what he was supposed to do, and stop Ujiri until the credentials have been verified, Ujiri slapped the cop's arm away and made a sudden move. Instinctually, the cop immediately shoved him after having his arm slapped away, as would any police officer.

    Watch the 30 second mark.

Also, about the second push. If you've ever been in a fight, you know, don't let the other guy in your face. Bad things can happen. If you feel like a fight is about to go down, either back up, or push the other guy and create space. Ujiri clearly gets back in the guys face after the first push.

Sure. When I would get pulled over back in the 60's for "almost running a red light back there," 6 blocks away, that's exactly what I said to them.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of cops are just like him. It's how they are trained. It's alawys been us against the world and we'll overreact to everything.

I've watched the video like 10 more times in slow mo. To be fair, I'm no longer 100% convinced that Ujiri slapped his arm way. He still may have, it's just hard to tell from the video. At the least, he still tried to walk through the cop with ID'ing himself. My point is, the new angle gives a bit more context than the original bodycam footage

nope. This video shows the entire incident from start to finish. Clearly Ujiri didn't start anything. There's no break up of parts to this video. No one angle that makes it seem like one thing. It's the whole incident in its entirety.
