[ClutchFans] Draft Notes: Green, Mobley and the Rockets choices at 23, 24

I'm pushing for trading Gordon, Wood, House, 23, 24 to try and nab three picks in the top 13.

I like Mitchell, Kispert, Wagner, Moody, Duarte, JJ and Trey Murphy. I want shooting and defense.

I think a deal with Indiana is there at the deadline for Gordon. Going into next offseason with this team:

1 - KPJ/Thomas/McBride
2 - Green/Tate/Brooks
3 - Johnson/Martin/Tate
4 - Olynyk/Thor
5 - Wood/Sims

 

I’d trade Gordon, 24th, and a 2022 Brooklyn pick for Cam Reddish tonight

23 and 24 need to be 2 of the following:

Kai Jones, Jalen Johnson, Usman Garuba, Ziaire Williams, JT Thor, Isaiah Jackson, Vrenz Bleijenbergh, Herb Jones, EJ Onu (kid will shock the world, he promised!!!)

Especially if Green is the pick!

Totally agree. I like McBride there too but Khyri Thomas can probably hold down backup duties well enough.

 

Big Bones and Deuce fan, like Springer too, but need more length.

And I don't mean Isaiah no defense Todd either.

 

Green over Mobley, which was expected. We got Garuba and that surprised me. I just hope we can get him away from Real Madrid. I know you weren't real high on Sengun, but I think he's going to be terrific. Don't know much about Christopher, who'll likely spend a lot of time in the G-League. Sengun probably will, as well. I see Garuba playing in Houston right away, if he isn't a "stash." I'm a bit worried about that.

Just a great draft, the most exciting draft in many a year. I hope we can get a 2nd round pick or two. Lot of talent still out there.
