I would also like to avoid those guys: Cooper, Thomas, and Primo. Sam Vecenie described Cooper as Trae Young but with a broken shot and even worse on defense. Yikes. Thomas would sooner saw off his own limb than run back on defense or pass the ball, and Primo just seems to hunt stats.

I would also love to see Garuba at 23/24. I think he's going to be able to play in the NBA even if he never develops into much of a scorer.

Love the ITodd call most of all, but I think he goes in the 1st Round tonight.

    Green-House Effect :D (that's funny)

As far as work ethic; i've no idea tbh. Do young-ons like Cade/Mobley/Green actually follow the Kobe regime. We're talking about getting up 5 a.m. every morning to start conditioning. This is in the summer/off-season when lot of NBA players go on vacation. DeRozan, KG and some of the NBA guys do Kobe-esque type of training. I'm a little dubious that young cats are doing all (or any) of that.

Getting up early, also means less partying at night, for men in their late teens early 20's that's hard to do. Even existing NBA players: KAT/Simmons and others busted for playing late into the night on CoD and Fortnite before a game day.

Not sure if any managers out there; when you interview people, most of them say they're hard working. Some are (in their mind or relative to the people around them before the hire). When they actually get on the team, they realize just how hard the other people actually work. Just saying.

Confidence is ok, but some of them do borderline arrogance; can't say you work harder than other people if you don't know other's routines.

Whomever we get, I hope that person is a gym rat.

There's a Mock Draft on NBA TV right now if you're interested in that sort of thing. It being televised is new at least (I think... been too long since we sniffed the 1st round.... looking at you Murray).

    Check it out?

We will see. His shooting is really impressive. I don't think he checked out amazing as far as his athleticism goes but his measurables are strong.

I’ve posted on other threads that we should try to get:
    2. Mobley
    13. Kispert

I’m not sure if I’m in the minority with my picks but I’m glad that @Clutch at least agrees with me on Kispert! I would be happy if we at least get one of these two players…

    Clutchfans it’s Fantastic!!!

I like Wisecamp better than Kispert coming out of college.

If we're going Green, all I want is a complementary big man prospect. Land someone like Jackson, Garuba, etc. and I'm happy.

Would take either but Wisekamp is cheaper to acquire.

    And has more upside.

But Kispert is plug and play from day 1.

I think Butler would be a home run pick

    Jalen Johnson would be amazing.

Yes we have SOME playmaking, take Wall out of the equation (fingers crossed) and that goes down to not a lot. Having a playmaking big/wing was always a wishlist item when Harden was here. Looks like it still might be.

KPJ (who's only be played at lead guard for half a year in the NBA), Tate and Gordon (ehh) are our only other "ball handlers" outside of Wall. Who we should be trying to move off of some point soon.

IMHO, as a pure accurate shooter Kispert>>>>>Wisecamp.
Doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the better player though. o_O

You and I are much on the same page.

Cooper, Cam Thomas, Zaire Williams (I would add to that list as very suspect).....
Evan Turner mold or just lack luster red flags.

I on with: Duarte, Scottie Lewis, Miles McBride, Garuba, C Bassey, Thor, Kai Jones,
McLaughlin, T Mann, Isaiah Jackson, Murphy III, Hyland, Jerimiah-Earl Jones (@saleem)
I'm sure I'm missing some or others

honorable mention: Jalen Johnson (like Zaire Williams suspect at times but
probably less suspect in the red flag department)

    Jared Butler (heart / health?)

Would you prefer Todd over JT Thor? If so, why?
Personally I like Thor more for athleticism and potential DEF versatility, and his shooting stroke is pretty nice too
