throw in a Wall-Kemba swap and I'm in!

Deal would have to be structured as two separate transactions
    1. Shai, #6, #16 for #2 and House
    2. Kemba for Wall

I'm a big fan of SGA. He's a great, young two-way player with a mature offensive game. That said, why in the hell would OKC put him on the market? He's 23 years old putting up all-star numbers and they're trying to bundle him with another high lotto pick for unproven albeit elite prospects? I know he had plantar fasciitis last season, but that's not a career threatening injury at all. Is he damaged goods in some other sense?

I’m’a trusting you, but I hope he exceeds his write ups on draft boards if we select him.

I believe it is the prospect of locking in a player to a max contract when they are pretty clearly a terrible team with a lot of work to do on the rebuild.

Maybe slightly analogous to why the Rockets would consider trading Wood, even though he is only 25 and they need good players.

If they aren't 100% sold on commiting to him as the core piece of their rebuild, given all the picks theyve got coming down the line, maybe you move on now before you lock him in at a high dollar amount, without too much effect on the rebuild.

Well he HAS made it up to #24 on KOC's big board. (1 spot ahead of Jalen Johnson)

    Agreed
Smaller Rondo without the smothering on-ball pressure

Oh I get it. They need to consider whether they want to pay him a max salary soon. I'd understand if they tried to trade SGA for a top pick by himself, but to bundle him with the #6 to move up a few spots? That's just a dump. The cost to move up has not historically been that high.

Dallas added a future 1st round pick to move up and draft Luka. Philly added a future 1st round pick to move from #3 to #1 to draft Fultz. Portland threw in Victor Khryapa and to move from #4 to #2 and get LaMarcus Aldridge. People add unproven assets or marginal role players to move up. No one's thrown in a young potential all-star just to avoid salary before.

Taking isaiah Todd over Jalen Johnson would be a tragedy.

    But par for the course.

    Small? He's a 6'6 combo guard with a 7'0 wingspan. D'Lo tier? Wut?

Doesn't matter what you think. It matters what he measures.

#2 - fine with any of green , Mobley , or Suggs. I’d be ok with trading back too , depending on the return .

#23 / 24 very interesting. I’d like to move one of these . ATL has been rumored to want a pick and will move one of its younger players . I’m not that high on reddish , but if we could get Onyeka I’d trade one of these plus house. I’d do it for hunter too .

with the other I like : McBride , springer , Garuba , or another big . Tre Mann , or primo are good picks too .

No matter what we do we are going to come away with some exciting young talent

He is 6.4 1/2 without shoes, MJ/Kobe size as per the draft combine. He is tall enough to play either guard slot.

CH44, thanks for coming back. I have seen only 1 Mock Draft with Todd in the 1st round and it was KOC's with the Rockets picking him at 24. My guess is Todd is available when the Rockets pick if that is their guy in that range.

definitely wouldn’t mind trading for shai and #6!
If we do make this trade I would offer Toronto #6 and more assets for #4 for Suggs! I honestly only see KPJ as a 6th man, super talented but I would rather see him kill other teams benches

    Suggs/Porter
    Shai
    Tate
    KJ
    Wood

If we get no 6 imo we should draft a guy rather than lose more assets just to get Suggs.

Suggs is best with ball in his hands and driving inside, pretty similar to SGA.
