Yes, most mocks have Rockets taking Green. But they still say that Mobley likely the best player in the draft.
The moment he changed my mind and I knew he was the Chosen One was at this point in the video (great documentary on Prolific Prep, btw). I remember trying to do this as a kid since only women were supposed to be able to do it. Just hit play; it's cued up :
yes definitely. 6’6 wound be primo. 6’7-6’9 and we’d be drafting Cade for sure as Green #1 would be a no brainer. I’m not really concerned about his height. More his bulk. Be it wirey strength or pure bulk… like Mobley he needs to show he has it at an nba level.
Schmitz, Ford, others have changed their mocks to have Green at #2 not because he's better than Mobley but because Rockets are giving every indication that Green will be 2nd pick. But per GMs, Mobley is the actual gem of this draft.
Let me say again, when talking about a BIG BOARD Schmitz had Green #2. Again, NOT MOCKS. That is all I am saying. Other people like Ford might have a different Big Board. And that is fine. And there may be other big boards that have other things, and that is fine too.

BTW, I am not trying to change anyone's mind if they don't want the Rockets to select Green. That's the guy I like right now, not second guessing it. If others like other guys, then have it it.
Big Board is not just based on talent but other reasons why a player is slotted 2nd. The bottom line is that Schmitz, Ford, etc. have all stated that Mobley is 2nd or even 1st best prospect in any other draft. GMs are saying Mobley is the gem of the draft, could be the best of the top prospects in 5 years, prototype big of the modern era, etc. And I havent even mentioned Unicorn yet.
Well last year you called Edwards a bust and the second half of the season was quite nice, we'll see. The fanfare over Marcus Morris is easily one of the most delusional hypes I've seen on the board (maybe coachbadlee saying Royce White = Lebron lol). Plenty of us were on Lowry > Brooks, that's not a huge accomplishment. Point is, your boasts are fairly empty here. Let's be happy we are drafting in an excellent draft and getting a great prospect.
On the bright side, with no back court defense or rim protection we will have a great shot at a top four pick again next year
